Once you arrive, Vanderbilt offers transportation and mobility resources to help you move across campus safely and efficiently. Explore shuttle services, accessibility resources, maps and transportation options that support getting to classrooms, offices, parking areas and campus destinations.
Daytime Shuttle Service
Beginning in fall 2026,ÌýVandyRideÌýwill expandÌýshuttle service to support the new parking system and improve mobility across campus.Ìý
Multiple daytime shuttles willÌýoperateÌýacross two routes, helping connect parking areas, offices, academicÌýbuildingsÌýand key campus destinations throughout the day.Ìý
VandyRideÌýdaytime shuttle service is available to the Vanderbilt community, including faculty, staff and postdoctoralÌýscholarsandÌýis designed to make moving around campus easier without needing toÌýrelocateÌýyour vehicle.Ìý

To support rider safety and service efficiency, pickup and drop-off occur at designated shuttle stops only.Ìý

Mobility & Accessibility Services
Vanderbilt is expanding mobility services to support the new parking system and improve access across campus. These updates are designed to make it easier to move between parking areas, offices, academic buildings and key destinations.
Mobility Rides
Mobility Rides provides accessible transportation across campus for students,ÌýfacultyÌýand staff with approved medical or accessibility needs.Ìý
Service is available through electric carts and ADA-accessible vehicles to support travel between campus destinations.Ìý
Students requiring medical or accessibility assistance must register for Mobility Rides through the Student Access Office.

- Pregnant students with accessibility needs should register and receive approval from the Title IX Office. Submit the Pregnancy Accommodation Request Form through the Title IX Office’s website or contact them atÌý615-343-9004ÌýorÌýTitleIX@Vanderbilt.eduÌýfor inquiries regarding accommodations.
Faculty and staff seeking medical or accessibility assistance should register and obtain approval through the Equal Opportunity and Access Office.

Event organizers hosting visitors with mobility needs should plan transportation accommodations in advance, as Mobility Rides are not available for campus visitors.

Walking routes throughout campus offer opportunities to recharge, connect with colleagues or simply enjoy a change of pace between destinations. Whether commuting on foot or taking a short break during the day, Vanderbilt’s pedestrian-friendly campus makes walking an easy option for many trips.Ìý
Biking & Scooters
Biking and scooters offer a flexible transportationÌýoptionÌýfor getting to and around Vanderbilt.Ìý
Commercial scooter riding and parking are restricted in many campus locations. Riders should follow university guidance, park responsibly and remain aware of pedestrian activity and campus safety expectations.ÌýÌý
