A critical step in being an engaged citizen is to vote. Vanderbilt encourages every eligible member of the university community鈥攕tudents, staff and faculty鈥攖o register and vote in elections held in their districts of residence.
To help students, faculty and staff prepare to vote, Vanderbilt has partnered with , a platform that simplifies voter registration and provides updates on election details like polling locations, candidate information and any last-minute changes. TurboVote supports voters from all states and jurisdictions, offering registration and election day details no matter where you鈥檙e voting.
Your congressional district may look different for the 2026 election. Tennessee voters can check their current district and voting information through the Tennessee Secretary of State鈥檚 resources. Because several states have also updated congressional district boundaries, all voters should confirm their district and other voting information before Election Day.
