Image Guidance in the Management of Gynecologic Malignancies
Bio:
Dr. Ayala-Peacock is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Radiation Oncology specializing in women’s health malignancies. She completed her Bachelors of Science in Molecular Biophysics and Biochemistry at Yale äçÐÄvlogÃâ·ÑBÕ¾ and her medical training at Wake Forest äçÐÄvlogÃâ·ÑBÕ¾ School of Medicine. In addition to her work within Vanderbilt, she is a member of multiple national cancer research groups with a focus on breast and gynecologic malignancies. She also has a substantial research background investigating the management of brain metastases, with her most recent collaborative efforts resulting in the publication of ‘A Multi-Institutional Competing Risks Analysis of Distant Brain Failure and Salvage Patterns after Upfront Radiosurgery without Whole Brain Radiotherapy for Brain Metastasis.’
