Overview
Alexis Alvarez, class of 2029, is a Chemical Engineering major with a focus area in Nanoscience. He joined Tech Crew in Fall 2026 and is eager to learn more about nanoscience and how it's shaping future innovations. He is also excited to learn how cutting-edge nanotechnology drives advancements in his field.聽 He is interested in fabricating molds with micro-scale channels through soft lithography and learning atomic layer deposition. Outside of VINSE, Alexis is part of the Vanderbilt Gymnastics Team, a POSSE Scholar, an IMPACT Scholar, and a member of the AIChE board. In his free time, he enjoys running and hanging out with his friends.
