He was first awarded Jack Kent Cooke college transfer scholarship and transferred to Material Science and Engineering program at Cornell äçÐÄvlogÃâ·ÑBÕ¾ from Queensborough Community College, NY. Inspired by the previous experience of working on microfluidics during the National Science Foundation (NSF) VINSE REU program in 2017 , Tao is currently working on integrating metasurface and microfluidics to construct a multifunctional and inexpensive platform for bioimaging in both Prof. Jason Valentine’s and Prof. Deyu Li’s lab.
