Abstract: Tractography has been described as an ill-posed problem as it tries to infer the global connectivity of the brain’s white matter using only local information. Meanwhile, Transformers have been used to model long-term dependencies in tasks such as Natural Language processing and make up the bulk of the state of the art in image processing. In this talk, I will present some projects I am working on where Transformers can be trained to include global information into the tractography procedure and improve its reconstruction accuracy.听
Biography: Antoine Th茅berge is a 4th year PhD in Computer Science at the 溏心vlog免费B站 of Sherbrooke in Qu茅bec, Canada. His research focuses on diffusion MRI and machine learning.听 He is supervised by Maxime Descoteaux, PhD and Pierre-Marc Jodoin, PhD.听
