As announced in late April, Tutoring Services and the Writing Studio鈥攖wo academic support programs run by the same office鈥攁re transitioning this summer to a single, combined WCOnline appointment scheduling site shared by both programs.
For Tutoring Services clients, today鈥擳hursday, May 29鈥攊s the day we have taken our biggest steps toward both programs sharing one WCOnline site, ensuring we are ready for the start of Tutoring Services summer STEM tutoring to begin next week on Tuesday, June 3.
The good news is what isn鈥檛 changing: Booking appointments with either Tutoring Services or the Writing Studio鈥攂oth open this summer!鈥攚ill remain as simple and easy as ever. Just follow the 鈥淪chedule an Appointment鈥� links from each program鈥檚 respective homepage.
What changes can returning Tutoring Services clients expect?
- Starting today, the Tutoring Services homepage鈥檚 鈥淪chedule an Appointment鈥� links have been updated to redirect to the VUnetID and password sign-in page for our newly consolidated WCOnline site.
- Likewise, starting today, when accessing our newly consolidated WCOnline site for the first time, returning Tutoring Services clients will need to create a new user profile. (Those with existing聽Writing Studio聽user profiles will simply be prompted to update their profiles.)
- 础听new 鈥淲elcome and schedule navigation鈥� landing page: Starting today, after signing into our WCOnline site with VUnetID and password, clients will be brought to a new landing page from which they can navigate to either the current Tutoring Services or Writing Studio or schedule via the displayed links.
- Next System Email: Starting tomorrow (Friday, May 30), system emails from the new consolidated WCOnline site will come from 鈥淰U Writing Studio and Tutoring Services.鈥� The 鈥渞eply to鈥� address for such emails will change to wsts.admin@vanderbilt.edu.
- Each program can still be most directly reached by emails to their respective inboxes:
- Updated system forms: Returning clients may notice updates to several essential forms within WCOnline in order to accommodate the needs of both programs. Updates to the Registration and 鈥淐reate New Appointment鈥� forms are complete, while some additional updates are forthcoming.
