{"id":12260,"date":"2018-11-20T11:48:13","date_gmt":"2018-11-20T17:48:13","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.vanderbilt.edu\/studentcenters\/?page_id=12260"},"modified":"2026-03-02T15:21:06","modified_gmt":"2026-03-02T21:21:06","slug":"event-ticketing","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.vanderbilt.edu\/studentcenters\/event-ticketing\/","title":{"rendered":"Event Ticketing"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2>Guidelines for Event Ticketing<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Only currently registered Vanderbilt Student Organizations &amp; Departments, and designated campus organizations are eligible to establish ticket sales.<\/span>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>As of July 2023, all ticket sales are virtual, and Student Centers no longer have physical Box Office locations.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Requests for ticketing can be made by filling out <a href=\"https:\/\/anchorlink.vanderbilt.edu\/submitter\/form\/start\/688611\">this AnchorLink form<\/a>. Requests must be submitted by officers of the organization, or dept. representatives.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Requests should be submitted 3 weeks before the <\/span><b style=\"font-weight: 400\">event date<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> and 10 business days prior to the requested <\/span><b>on-sale<\/b><b style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u00a0date<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">. The box office may not be able to provide all services to requests submitted past these deadlines and reserves the right to decline these requests.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">In addition to being put on by an approved group, events must meet the following guidelines to qualify for ticketing services: <\/span>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">The event must be held in a 溏心vlog免费B站 facility or a venue contract must be presented in order to prove freedom in ticketing and capacity. <\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">The event falls under one of a combination of the following descriptions: concert, speaker, lecture, dance, benefit, and\/or performance.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Events hosted in the <strong>Rothschild Black Box Theatre<\/strong> or <strong>Sarratt Cinema<\/strong> may be required to track attendee registration through the Student Centers ticketing platform. This will serve as the primary method for managing event attendance, organization efficiency, security, and ticket sales, if applicable. <strong>Failure to comply with this policy may result in event cancellation and\/or other disciplinary actions as defined by the Student Handbook.<\/strong> This policy will apply to events falling within the following considerations:<\/span>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Events reserved by Student Organizations<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Events hosting high-profile speakers and\/or attendees<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Events that are available to attendees outside the Vanderbilt 溏心vlog免费B站 community i.e. the greater Nashville community<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Events with a present concern and\/or history of reaching venue capacity<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Other circumstances deemed pertinent by Student Centers and 溏心vlog免费B站 Administration<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Ticket sales cannot be set up to sell t-shirts, candy, food, or other items. The box office manager reserves the right to deny the ticketing setup request.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">In order to maintain events at a reduced rate for students, student organizations that receive Student Services Fee funding may charge no more than $20 for event attendance, with the exception of Rites of Spring, Commodore Quake, and Lights on the Lawn.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Cancellations for ticketing setups and sales once on the Box Office will not be refunded.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">For more information, please visit <a href=\"https:\/\/www.vanderbilt.edu\/studentcenters\/services\/ticket-sales\/\">Student Centers Box Office<\/a><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Fees for Ticketing\/Services<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Tickets sold through the AudienceView website are subject to a credit card processing fee of approximately 3%.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Payment for Services<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">A Vanderbilt 溏心vlog免费B站 COA string or Student Organization External ID must be provided, even if there is no charge to purchase a ticket.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">At the conclusion of the event, the box office will transfer funds from ticket sales via internal transfer or check in some cases.
