Our community is currently home to three IGC organizations. Potential members will have the opportunity to learn about and engage with current and alumni members of IGC organizations. Each affiliate organization will implement its respective internationally sanctioned membership intake process. IGC chapters will advertise their membership intake process through fliers and on social media. All students are welcome to attend to learn more about an organization or express interest. These fliers will always be posted outside of the Office of Greek Life or on social media (if allowed) no less than a week before said meeting. To learn more about IGC organizations, interested students are encouraged to research their individual organization and chapter websites, follow organizations on social media, and attend various events hosted by IGC organizations on campus. Please reach out to Tijuan Neal II<\/a> with any questions or concerns.<\/p>\n In order to be eligible to join an IGC fraternity or sorority, a potential member must:<\/p>\n The IGC Informational is an opportunity to learn about the organizations within the Intercultural Greek Council. This program features historical information about the IGC on Vanderbilt\u2019s campus, an overview of the groups currently present on campus, and will give you an opportunity to meet members from the organizations. This year\u2019s event will take place on September 10th.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n If you attend the IGC Informational, you will be able to forego attending another Intake Seminar.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n Intake Seminars provide critical information about the history and operation of the IGC on Vanderbilt’s campus and is mandatory to join an IGC organization on our campus. Failure to arrive on time may result in not receiving credit for attendance. No particular attire is required.
