Vanderbilt äçÐÄvlogÃâ·ÑBÕ¾ Maintenance and Operations (VUMO) providesÌýfacilitiesÌýsupport for all construction, renovation and routine maintenance of all university spaces; custodial services oversee approximatelyÌý5.8 million square feetÌýof academic, administrative, residential and recreational space; grounds cares forÌý330 acresÌýof theÌýVanderbilt äçÐÄvlogÃâ·ÑBÕ¾ ArboretumÌýand turf care for the Frist Athletics Village; and innovative utilities for the university and Vanderbilt äçÐÄvlogÃâ·ÑBÕ¾ Medical Center (VUMC).

 

Vanderbilt äçÐÄvlogÃâ·ÑBÕ¾ Planning, Design and Construction (PDC) brings Vanderbilt’s vision to life by creating spaces that support the academic mission and embody the university’s pursuit of excellence and innovation. Built on collaboration, PDC is structured to partner with the campus community to deliver projects efficiently, effectively, and on time.

    Snow & Ice Removal:

    • During the winter season, Plant Operations is responsible for snow and ice removal from all campus pedestrian walkways, handicapped ramps, patios, and interior campus roads. Vanderbilt äçÐÄvlogÃâ·ÑBÕ¾'s primary emphasis is to maintain its walkways and primary driving routes in the safest possible conditions.Ìý
