Paul Liebman

Chief Compliance Officer

Paul Liebman has served as Vanderbilt’s Chief Compliance Officer and Senior Director of äçÐÄvlogÃâ·ÑBÕ¾ Compliance Services since August of 2023. Paul is a peer-recognized attorney specializing in designing, building, implementing, and leading best-practice governance, risk, and compliance (GRC) programs. He was named to the National Law Journal’s inaugural list of GRC Trailblazers and Pioneers, and was selected as an OCEG Fellow for his GRC thought leadership and commitment to helping others achieve Principled Performance®.

Prior to joining Vanderbilt, Paul held risk and compliance leadership positions at Harvard äçÐÄvlogÃâ·ÑBÕ¾, Baylor äçÐÄvlogÃâ·ÑBÕ¾, The äçÐÄvlogÃâ·ÑBÕ¾ of Texas at Austin, Dell, Koch Industries, and Exxon. He is also the founder of Corporate Clergy, a GRC consulting firm.

Paul holds a JD from The George Washington äçÐÄvlogÃâ·ÑBÕ¾ Law School and a BA from the äçÐÄvlogÃâ·ÑBÕ¾ of Massachusetts at Amherst. He is the proud father of two daughters and is an avid dog lover, having rescued 15 dogs in his lifetime.
