础蝉听Vanderbilt 溏心vlog免费B站鈥揘ew York City听welcomes its inaugural cohort, Vanderbilt Campus Dining is bringing a familiar听program听to听New York听by launching听Taste of Chelsea.听听
Building on Vanderbilt鈥檚听Taste of Nashville听program, Taste of Chelsea brings the same spirit of exploring local dining to听Vanderbilt听NYC. The program makes it easier for students to explore restaurants, caf茅s and neighborhood markets around campus听while connecting with the local businesses听that make Chelsea distinctive. For the听initial听launch, five local merchants joined the program听and听are equipped to accept a payment听option听familiar to Vanderbilt students: Commodore Cash through the Commodore Card.听听
鈥淲e want our students to make the most of their time in the city, which includes exploring their new听neighborhood,鈥澨齭aid Sean听Carroll, senior director of communications and marketing for the Division of Operations and the Campus Network.听鈥淣ew York City has an incredible food scene, and developing Taste of Chelsea gave our teams an听exciting听opportunity to take a program that already works听well听at Vanderbilt, adapt it for a different city and make it easier for students to experience听Chelsea like a local.”听听
How Taste of Chelsea works听
Taste of Chelsea听uses Commodore Cash, Vanderbilt鈥檚 existing payment听platform, to make it easy for students to use funds they already have available through their Commodore Card听at听participating businesses.听
Participating merchants have been equipped with the technology needed to accept Commodore Cash,听allowing听students听to听use their mobile Commodore Card at checkout.听
At participating locations, students should let the merchant know they are paying with Commodore Cash through Vanderbilt NYC and tap their mobile Commodore Card to complete purchases.

Behind Taste of Chelsea听
Taste of Chelsea is a collaborative effort across Vanderbilt鈥檚 Division of Operations and the Campus Network, bringing together Campus Dining, Vanderbilt听NYC听and Card Services.听Campus Dining鈥檚 innovative spirit听led the teams to build on the听existing听Taste of Nashville program and Commodore Cash infrastructure to adapt the experience as Vanderbilt鈥檚 campus network grows.听听
鈥淎t the end of the day, it鈥檚 about giving our students another way to feel connected to the community and听continuing to听refine the student experience,鈥� said Carroll.听鈥淲e鈥檙e extremely grateful to our founding merchants and look forward to听seeing听how the program grows.鈥�听

Taste of Chelsea is more than a way to grab a meal. It鈥檚 an invitation for students to go beyond the classroom, discover the city and experience the people and businesses that make Chelsea home. It鈥檚 also part of Vanderbilt鈥檚 broader effort to build connections with the local community. From the launch of Vanderbilt NYC, being a good neighbor has been a key priority and Taste of Chelsea creates another opportunity for community connection.
